D3_Company is a fearless digital product brazilian enterprise.

1 in 4 brazilian people use products made by D3 and, in order to attract great businesses and market leaders to the company, a new website was requested to our team.

The site had to communicate D3's now focus on digital solutions, its past, and also make use of the pre-estabilished design language, being functional, elegant and simple.

The Project

To attract great businesses, market leaders, in order to 1 in 4 brazilians to be impacted by our solutions.

For that to be possible, a refresh of the site is needed, for any remaining doubts of what D3 actually is or what it does, and it's potential to be known without effort.

Our Mission

Stakeholder Research:
Knowing Pain & Necessity

Researching and interviewing stakeholders, we've come to discover the following:

1. There was a greater amount of effort involved in explaining what D3 actually was to people who were exposed to the site previously, in comparisson to people who didn't have any prior exposure to us

2. One common reaction to the site was "I am impressed, but i didn't quite get what you guys are about"

3. D3 was always known for it's ambitious and innovative projects, but creating actual understanding of what was done proved to be difficult

Below, a tiny overview of the actual dynamics of the research documented in Miro.

Insights & Solutions

After the research process, we gathered our thoughts and came up with a few guiding statements to our work:

• The site had to be, primarily, a tool in which could help the business sector of D3 to connect and engage with potential clients, and generate new prospects of work to us

• The site isn't meant to generate leads necessarily in the current moment

• The site must convey simplicity, objectivity and D3's own brand of minimalism

• The site must display D3's framework as a product of it's own

Defined OKRs For The Project

Two main OKRs were estabilished for our effort, they were:

•KR01: Engage clients with our value proposition, great results and innovation capacity, and to do that, we must show 3 unquestionable results (facts) about previous D3 products. This inclusion will be done through innovative cases and a big numbers section.

•KR02: Reduce client proposal time, helping to understand D3 faster, what it is about and how it operates, and to do that we must show content in regards to "Who is D3" and it's method of work (the Framework). This will be done through the inclusion of sections containing pertinent information.

From the first ideation to an actual, published website in six weeks.

The site is acessible in https://history.d3.do/

The prototypes are fully functional and responsive, and they can be seen below both in desktop and mobile form factors!

What We Delivered

Design System:
Tokens, Components & Scalability

Regarding the long term prospects of this project, the design team came to the conclusion that we had a great opportunity in our hands:

To properly begin the design system of D3's website, with it's structure including tokens, components and everything else deemed reasonable.

With this inclusion, new arrivals in the team had a far faster and easier time working on the site and maintaining it's growth for the foreseable future.
